All fantastic
The curried scallops was the best I've had in a very long time. Was absolutely delicious. Keep up the good work guys, amazing cooks and amazing front of house staff.
We arrived at Devonport early in the morning on the Spirit of Tasmania and decided to head to Latrobe in search of breakfast and found Belly’s. We weren’t disappointed! My wife and I both had Eggs Benedict with bacon. She had tea and I had a flat white. The food was tasty and very reasonably priced and the service great with a friendly smile! The coffee was exceptional. Highly unlikely we’ll be back in Latrobe for a while but we’d be back here in a heartbeat!
It is about time I reviewed Belly's. Found it when working a couple of weeks here in January 2020. Loved it. Visited again in June 2020 just as restaurants reopened. Was impressed by the way they had handled the pandemic and had gone from strength to strength. So when working here in the last 5 months we came back and now go once or twice a week. The food is of high standard. The seafood has never been over coooked. Often some great specials-the Moroccan spiced quail is a must if on the specials board. Service is very good and friendly. So thanks Mark for running such a great team. Price is reasonable and serves often large.
I had lamb rump yesterday, it was melt in your mouth delicious and topped off with coffee & choc tart All other meals eaten at our table were all 10/10 too Thanks Belly's Bar 'N' Grill for topping off our day out with great meals
Omg... we have just finished the yummiest seafood platter ever. I don't even generally eat seafood, but it sounded too good to pass up. The calamari was flash fried to perfection, the scallops were oven baked in garlic butter and the rest, soft shell crab, prawns and oysters Kirkpatrick were melt in the mouth good! We are overnighting on the coast and already planning on stopping here for lunch again tomorrow! Best meal we've eaten out in ages, and we do eat out in Hobart A LOT. This is a must do if up on the coast!
I’ve been here twice in the last few months and the food is delicious. The place is always packed so booking on a busy day would be advised.
We have eaten at Belly’s on many times in the past 3 years and on occasions taken family visiting Tasmania. When we are asked for a good place to dine we point all our guests that stay at Belle’s B&B to Belly’s and we have never had a reason to be disappointed or had bad feedback from our guests.
